Bespoke Wedding Accessories from Madame B’s Boutique
All the designs you see in my Shop can be made in a wide spectrum of colours, fabrics and sizes, but I am also happy to create something completely bespoke for you. Here’s a basic summary of the bespoke process:
Contact me to arrange your free consultation with me. This can be in person, via phone or Skype. For hats, I will also need to take your head measurements.
Once we’ve agreed on a design, I will invoice you for a 50% deposit (see my Terms & Conditions) to confirm you order.
I will send you ‘work in progress’ photos so that you can see how your order is shaping up and make suggestions for changes. Fittings can be arranged if necessary.
When your order is complete, I will send you more photos for your approval. We can also arrange a final fitting if necessary. Once you have approved the design, I will send an invoice for the remaining balance.
Your order will be posted via special delivery in the UK or international tracked. You can arrange to collect your order in person if you prefer.
For smaller pieces I usually allow 1-2 weeks for this process, or 6-8 weeks for larger and more complex designs, particularly if we need to arrange fittings. If you need a piece made for a particular date, please let me know this at the start of the process so I can make sure it will be ready for you in good time, especially if you are ordering during the busy Spring/Summer season.
